For optimal use of your Soy Candle, follow these steps:

• During the first use, allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface, reaching the sides of the vessel. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn. Depending on your environment, this may take 2-4 hours.
• Trim the wick to 5 mm before each burn to promote an even burn and minimize sooting or mushrooming.
• If soot forms inside the vessel, extinguish the candle, let it cool, and wipe with a clean, damp cloth or paper towel. Trim the wick before the next use and eliminate draughts to prevent uneven burning.
• Maintain an upright, teardrop-shaped flame without flickering for efficient burning. Extinguish the candle immediately if it smokes excessively or the flame becomes too high. Let it cool, trim the wick, and check for draughts before relighting.
• Keep windows and doors closed while burning the candle to maximize scent distribution.
• Store the Soy Candle in a cool, dark, and dry place away from direct sunlight or harsh indoor lighting to avoid discolouration, as many fragrances are light-sensitive.
