• Anti-inflammatory support: Quercetin reduces the risk of free radical induced inflammation and damage via several mechanisms. Grape seed contains constituents that down regulate NF κ-β and MAPκ pathway promoters of inflammation and cyclooxygenase activity.4 Milk thistle has been shown to contain anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.5
• Allergy management: Quercetin may assist in the management of allergies through inhibition of leukotriene synthesis and histamine release.6 Quercetin also has strong anti-inflammatory effects and has shown to inhibit LPS induced TNF-α production in macrophages and LPS-induced IL-8 production in lung cells.7
